Lanvin S/S 21
A year ago, Bruno Sialelli became the new designer for Lanvin. Since then, Sialelli has released collection after collection that are solid. While Sialelli’s Lanvin hasn’t burst onto the scene in a hyped way, the fact that the clothes are great every time will build a client base. This collection is no different. While it was shown in Shanghai, there was a wonderful offering of dresses and vacation ready looks for the men and women. The men’s looks were fresh and elegant. The first few women’s dresses shown looked like part of a museum collection of yesteryear’s hit in the best way: in case you don’t have a grandmother with vintage pieces to lend. My eye was definitely on the black bag’s with bananas dangling off; the leather also looked buttery soft.
